Well to say the 2009 ALR Rally was a sensational time would definitely be an understatement.  Regardless of the weather’s attempts to thwart our efforts to get together and conduct our business, we made it and had a good time to boot! 

Madawaska Chapter 147 did a fantastic job hosting this year’s event.  Each and every one of it’s members is to be commended for the exceptional jobs they did.  From the moment members began arriving Friday evening, everyone was greeted warmly and heartily.  The food was fantastic and plentiful!  The Post Auxiliary went the extra mile putting Saturday’s lunch and evening meals together.  Everything was SUPER!  Thank you very much ladies. 

The meeting accomplished what we had intended and then some.  All in all, a successful Rally!

Thanks to all who didn’t let a little rain hinder their attendance. Hope we can all safely enjoy what is left of our riding season.  There are many events still coming in the next few months.  Let’s all try to support each other and our events whenever and wherever we can.  We are veterans helping veterans and supporting veterans and the community.  That says a lot.
